AMBA Products Expands Their Traditional Collection

AMBA Products'™ Traditional Collection added the T2040, and now both models are also available in brushed nickel finish. Steamist's Patented Dual Temperature Sensor Technology

A U.S. Patent has been issued covering dual temperature sensor technology for Steamist's residential steam shower controls. All of Steamist's current digital control models are equipped with this proprietary feature, which helps prevent uncomfortable temperature swings for the steam bather. A typical steam shower control only has one sensor, which often detects conflicting temperatures from inside the enclosure and from the cold tile wall to which it is mounted. These "false cold" readings cause the control to direct the steam generator to add more steam, pushing temperatures above the user's comfort level. Steamist's newly patented technology overcomes this problem by adding a second sensor, positioned to get a more accurate reading of actual temperature inside the steam enclosure. Steamist 550, 450 and 250 steam shower controls all calculate the need for steam based on combined dual-sensor input.

Victoria + Albert's New Barcelona 2 and Barcelona 3 Tubs

Victoria + Albert expands on the popularity of its Barcelona Collection with two new freestanding tubs that combine beauty and practicality. Hansgrohe's New Raindance E Shower Collection

Boasting a luxe, high-design look, each integrates Hansgrohe's exceptional German engineering and delivers superlative water performance. Nazarena Febrero Named Hastings Tile & Bath's Northeast Regional Sales Manager

Watermark Designs' Elements Collection Wins 2018 HD Award

Watermark Designs took home Hospitality Design magazine's coveted HD Award 2018 in the Bath category for their Elements collection. Approximately 700 entries were submitted across 23 categories, including Luxury and Upscale Hotels and new categories including Restoration and Wellness. In the products section, nearly 300 products were submitted in 11 categories ranging from Flooring to Casegoods + Furniture to Bath. WETSTYLE was chosen to decorate the ships' Royal Loft Suites in order to maximize experience and aesthetics for Royal Caribbean guests. WETSTYLE pieces are used exclusively aboard Quantum class ships, setting the series of smaller, more luxurious, ships apart from the rest. WETSTYLE tubs, ideal for high-usage and saltwater environments, are handcrafted in WETMAR BIO™, a durable, easy-to-clean eco-material with a nature-based composition. Katty Pien Named New Chief Marketing Officer at LIXIl Americas

Katty Pien has been named the new Chief Marketing Officer of LIXIL Americas, the division under which kitchen and bath brands American Standard, DXV and GROHE operate. In this position, Pien is tasked with designing the overall marketing strategy that carries out the vision of LIXIL to pioneer water and housing products that make better homes a reality for everyone, everywhere. Pien brings more than 20 years of global marketing expertise to this position, with achievements encompassing strategic planning, brand portfolio management, and the creation of award-winning integrated consumer marketing campaigns. She will report to LIXIL Americas Chief Executive Officer and President Steven Delarge. Pien has been recognized with various distinctions during her career that include a 2009 Cannes Lion Award from the Cannes International Festival of Creativity, a 2009 Gold Clio, a 2009 Gold Effie, and being named an AdAge Top 50 Marketer in 2008. Pien holds an MBA from Stanford University Graduate School of Business and a B.S. in operations research and industrial engineering from Cornell University.

Victoria + Albert Unveils Thier New Soriano Collection

Victoria + Albert unveiled a stunning new line of stainless steel faucets known as Soriano. This contemporary collection of Italian-made fixtures is the result of another successful collaboration with design powerhouse Meneghello Paolelli Associati. Their singular inspiration for Soriano came from the Boolean world of coding logic, which is reflected in the "1s" and "0s" that are the essence of each faucet. Duravit Launches Two Brand-New Collections at the ICFF Show
